Joan has her Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. Joel Leathers has been a resident of the San Gabriel Valley for over 28 years. He works with clients in the counties of Los Angeles and San Bernardino. He has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics from the University of La Verne. He is a member of the Citrus Valley Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.
Joel has worked with Joan O´Rourke as partners in their real estate transactions since 2003. Joel specializes in residential. residential income, and commercial/industrial properties. In 2005, Joel became a member of the President's Council for Dilbeck GMAC Real Estate, which includes the top 2% of all agents in the company. He was the #2 agent in the Claremont office in 2005 (Joan O'Rourke #1), the #2 agent in 2006, the #3 agent in 2007, and the #1 agent in 2008. Joan and Joel Associates Real Estate, LLC was formed in 2010.
He was the head coach of the Bonita High School (located in La Verne) freshmen baseball team for 4 years and an assistant coach on the varsity baseball team at Ontario High School for 3 years. Joel is now an assistant coach on the varsity baseball team at Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga. Joel got married in 2004 to his wife Brooke and they now have two daughters (Madison and Makenzie), but Joel still finds time to play golf, ice hockey, baseball, softball, and basketball!!!
